On Saturday morning, one person died and two others were hospitalized after an early morning car crash in North Las Vegas.
According to police the accident happened shortly after 4 in the morning, when a Ford Mustang, being driven by a 17 year old man, was traveling west on Craig Road. It then hit a Ford Explorer which was traveling south on Simmons Street and which had a green light.
The driver of the Mustang as well as his 19 year old male passenger both had what are thought to be non life threatening injuries and they were taken to University Medical Center.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, whose age, identity nor gender was released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Clark County coroner’s office will release more information on the driver once the family has been informed.
